The Authority will soon be introducing a new bill pay service is powered by InvoiceCloud that will allow customers to pay their bills anytime 24/7 through the online portal. The new system will allow customers to pay by text, receive text notifications about their bill and pay by text on-the-go. Customers will also be able utilize the auto-pay feature to save time and avoid late or missed payments.

Along with the online payment options, customers will be able to pay over the phone using the 24/7 automated feature. Customers who wish to pay by check via mail will be able to continue to do so. Autopay customers will need to re-register with the new payment portal to continue automatic payments. The new payment portal will also provide for payments to be instantly recorded to customers’ accounts instead of waiting a few days for the funds to be withdrawn.

Pennsylvania Declares Drought Conditions in 35 Counties 

The Pennsylvania Drought Task Force has announced that the counties of Adams, Allegheny, Beaver, Bucks, Butler, Carbon, Chester, Clearfield,  Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Indiana, Lancaster, Lawrence, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Philadelphia, Pike, Somerset, Washington, Westmoreland and York are under a Drought Watch and Berks and Schuylkill counties are under a Drought Warning due to consistent dry conditions, with very little rain over September and October. The Drought Task Force is monitoring other areas of the state.

Remember, in a drought watch, we should all be seeking to reduce water use by about 5 percent through voluntary conservation measures.
